A self proclaimed nerd, a lover of the senses, and someone who adores seeing people happy. ShifteQ was born of all of these things and more.
Wanting to bring something fresh and different to the ears and eyes of all those willing, "ShifteQ" finally came to being in 2009. After toying with audio and visual alike for years, the project came together as a way to output something that was exploding deep inside... The creative tangle of imagination vs the outside world needed a nest in which to grow.
ShifteQ is an adventure into noise through endless inspirations and outside influences. The Australian bush, nature, animals, people and all their strangeness, the mechanical and technological world, and the simple everyday sounds we sometimes forget to hear are just some of the many things that help to grow the ShifteQ seed...

The ShifteQ sound is a quirky, ever changing, multi tempo, bass driven, organic, bombardment of sonic strangeness designed to tickle your mind with familiarity, whilst at the same time load up your senses with something new and fresh.
From the Australian east coastal regions, ShifteQ is reaching out as far and wide as possible to transmit a new vibration to the ears of dancefloor dwellers, music junkies, bass maniacs, headphone huggers, chin scratchers and everyone in between...
Supporting acts such as Tipper, Beats Antique, iLL.Gates, Spoonbill, Hermitude, Robert Rich, Dov, Eprom, DZ, AudioVoid, J-pod, Circuit Bent, Dysphemic & Miss Eliza, Mr.Bill and Opiou is just scratching the surface.
ShifteQ has also been on the bill for some of Australia's most renowned outdoor festivals , such as;
Earth Frequency Festival, Deliverance, Cairns Winter Solstice Festival, Collaborations Festival, Manifest 2011, and on top of this has been billed next to headline acts for exclusive afterparties across the east of Australia.
His debut EP "Foreign TeQnology" on SixBux Productions went no.1 on the Addictech charts mid 2011. ShifteQ is also renowned for remixing some classic old and new tracks from all corners of music history, and also put out a self released EP "PANTS DOWN" in late 2011. On top of all of that, ShifteQ is now turning up on compilations next to many other amazing EDM artists from Australia and across the globe on many new groundbreaking Labels.
SixBux Productions, Adapted Records, Up Records, and NZ's Delicious Music have all supported this audio adventurer.
With influences ranging from Breakbeat, Dubstep, and Glitch, to Hiphop, Downtempo, World music, Experimental, and all out Unusual, ShifteQ brings to the auditory table such a bent, ‘out there’, style, it’s hard to even place. One thing is for sure, with warped frequencies, wonky beats, and an all out auditory massage for the senses, the sound you will hear is definitely going to cause a Shift.
